I see all types of pills and lose 20 lbs a week programs but why doesn't anyone take some time of and run, swim or walk around the park (at least). So many people are suffering from ejaculare precoce but they believe every add that will make their lives better "guaranteed". Why are we so trusting ?

Re: Sing Praise to God Who Reigns Above

Thanks for your explanatory notes on Johann Schutz's great hymn. It would be helpful to publish something like this in the church bulletin from time to time. Some hymns need little explanation. The singing of others would be enriched by the explanation of an occasional obscure word (for example, "Lord Sabaoth" in "A Mighty Fortress"). And still others require a full paraphrase such as you have supplied.

Publishing such information in the weekly bulletin would, over time, enhance the congregation's appreciation for the great hymns of the faith. Just an idea.

Re: Where were you when the world stopped turning?

May your whole family find comfort in Christ and in the fact that hundreds of people are praying for you.

Re: Where were you when the world stopped turning?

Thanks for your account Barry. Overeating is so often not considered a deadly sin, but it is. It will lead to both: physical and spiritual death. It has the power to numb feelings and still satisfaction like no other sin.

Re: Eat this, not that

I am amazed. I'm learning these days to orient myself to his presence - the idea that God is with us. I mean just after Jesus gives his final marching orders in Mt. 28:20 he promises "I will be with you always, to the very end of the age." The question I'm reflecting on is: How convinced am I that God's presence is so actual thay my aloneness is banished? Followed by "and what can I do, what steps can I take, in faith and by grace, to increase my conviction?

Re: Concerning death and celebrity

Thanks for your post on this. As parents, we can keep talking, but nothing works unless we walk the talk. Kids just follow whatever their parents do rather than what they talk. The only way to make our kids to be a generation of good, healthy, God-fearing people is doing that from our side.

Re: Do Hard Things - Relationship Edition

Great post!
